Set of Four 'Prague' 811 Chairs Designed by Josef Hoffmann
Four ebonised bentwood and cane dining chairs. Two with arms and two without. A classic, timeless design originally designed by Josef Hoffmann in the first half of the c20th. This set was produced by Dinette, a company given the licence to make them in the 1960's/70's. The design enables a lovely sense of space and light as the solid surfaces are minimal and all curved. This set has seen some life, so the black is worn off in a number of places. This doesn't affect the overall look or style. The handwoven cane is in good condition with one carver having a couple of small breaks at the side.
As this is a large, heavy item it can be picked up from the HoMV studio in N15, or delivered by a courier. We are happy to help get a cost and arrange a courier. Contact us to discuss delivery. Just pick your option at checkout.
