C Range Stag Dresser / Drawers By John And Sylvia Reid

Sold

This stylish dresser was designed in the 1950s by John and Sylvia Reid for the furniture manufacturer Stag. It is part of their C Range furniture series which at the time was unlike anything being offered to the mass market in post war Britain. The ingenious couple designed a number of iconic pieces of furniture in the 50s and 60s and we certainly think that this piece stands the test of time.
The dressing table has a light oak veneer and a cool black laminate surface. It has three drawers to the left, with lovely cut out handles, a draw underneath the black surface and a full length mirror. It is in good condition for it's age showing some signs of use including a little knock on the corner of the long draw under the black surface. This is hard to spot unless you pull the draw out and look for it. The top surface on the three drawers has been taken back and reoiled. The mirror is in very good condition.

As this is a large item it can be picked up from the HoMV studio in N4, or delivered by a courier. We are happy to help get a cost and arrange a courier. Contact us to discuss delivery
