Amazing rare 1970s modular shelving unit by the French designer Michel Ducaroy. The whole piece is made up of 8 shelves (we have put 7 up), a top and front opening cabinet with removable record holders, a two door front opening cabinet with an internal shelf and 4 uprights. It is made from a lovely treacle coloured plexiglass/perspex and aluminium. All the separate pieces can be configured as you please - the shelves can even be put in the other way up, The uprights extend at the top and the bottom with feet/pads which fix to the ceiling and the floor. It looks amazing against the wall but would look equally amazing running across a room as a divider. There are signs of use with a couple of small fixings missing which don't affect the stability or use. It is in very good vintage condition for it's age. This is an iconic piece of his work, definitely a keeper and one to pass on in your will!

Complete Width: 216.50cm ( Four Aluminium Uprights: 3cm width each)
Adjustable Height: From 240,50cm to 266,50cm approx.
2x Cabinets: 75x39cm
3x Large Shelves: 55x39cm
