A large, rare, fabulous, white porcelain vase designed by Martin Freyer for Rosenthal. The vase was designed for the Studio Line range which began in 1961. Martin Freyer worked for Rosenthal from 1964 until 1974. He was a painter and graphic artist, as well as a designer. His most iconic and famous design was the VW-sign for Volkswagen. This vase has a textured, organic design with a matte finish on the exterior plus a glaze finish on the interior. It is has the Rosenthal marks including Martin Freyer's signature.
