Skovby Danish Rosewood Sideboard
A very glamorous highly polished Rosewood sideboard by Skovby, a Danish company known for high quality furniture. It has 3 door fronts, an adjustable shelf and a bank of 5 dovetail drawers all lined with green baize. The Skovby label is still intact on the back. It does have a few signs of use, only noticeable on close inspection. The interior is in very good condition. The only issue is the light damage. The previous owner had kept the same objects in the same place for a very long time resulting in colour differences across the top. However, this is easily disguised with your own objects, or may be fixed by French polishing. Even with this it is still a very good investment in Scandinavian design.
